We’re inviting all residents of The Tower in Cwmbran to share their views on a set of proposed improvements designed to make your home safer, more secure, and more comfortable. Over recent months, we’ve heard your concerns about persistent anti‑social behaviour (ASB), safety issues within the building, and areas where living conditions could be improved. In response, we’ve developed a number of proposals that directly address the challenges you’ve raised.
One of the key measures we’re proposing is the installation of enhanced CCTV coverage throughout The Tower. This would help us tackle ongoing ASB, deter future incidents, and provide reassurance that everyone who lives here can feel safe in their home.
We are also consulting on the removal of the existing bin chute. A recent inspection by the Welsh Government highlighted this chute as a potential fire risk, and removing it could significantly improve overall safety within the building. We’ll work closely with you on alternative waste‑disposal arrangements.
Your voice is essential in shaping the future of The Tower. We want to understand how you feel about these changes and what matters most to you. Your feedback will guide our next steps.
