Cleaning services in Independent Living homes

We want you to love where you live and understand that part of this may be about the condition of the communal areas in your building, specifically how clean they are.

We are reviewing our cleaning services, and we would like to do this with your help.

We want to make sure your experiences, views and feedback are considered when we review this service. We also want to make sure our cleaning services provide quality, value, and satisfaction so you feel you are getting value for money.

At the moment, your communal cleaning charge is subsidised by Bron Afon. We currently cover around 25% of the costs. This means that on average residents are paying £6.09 a week and the average charge should be £8.12 a week to cover the cost of the cleaning services.

We have a responsibility to provide value for money for all of our customers and cannot continue to cover costs in this way.

We want you to be happy with the standard of cleaning in your building and this may require changes to some of the services or charges, e.g. we would like to know if you want a cleaning service based on a level of standards, rather than the time spent at your building.
